city muse

NYC is always my muse: The physicalness of it all. The texture of the steel, brick and cement, the glass storefronts, and wooden benches in the park, and the brilliant mish mash of cultures slay me. Making clothes in the atmospherics of New York City can be expressively magical. But the real magnetism and fascination of making clothes is that they will one day live on a body to animate a narrative of someone’s life.

Being and doing and making in a city as vigorous, hardy, insistent and blunt as this artful and culturally diverse feast that is New York, always invites the crumb of an idea for a dress.
